Our host is Midtown KC Now and supporters include the Arterie, KMCA (Kemper Museum), NAMA (Nelson Atkins), and KCAI (Kansas City Art Institute).

A full day of outdoor painting is planned in Midtown KC for Saturday, August 29th starting with an 8am start at our registration tent (45th & Warwick) and continues through the afternoon and then potentially well into the evening with a (proposed) Nocturne Event around the Nelson.  

Artist don't need to be present for the entire day but participate at their preferred time (see below) as only one event will be judged for a $500 Purchase Award that day (so far) with judging at 5pm.  Works will be collected at the event for an upcoming gallery show.

NOTE: A late September Gallery Show and Public Reception is being planned at the Midtown KC Now offices, 3931 Main Street, in their Community Room.  Artworks will be collected at the time of the event or artists are welcome to bring works in just prior to the reception FOR JUDGING.  3 Cash Award Ribbons will be awarded courtesy of our sponsors (details forthcoming)
